13/7 Orkneys

I land at Sanday island after a more than two-hours flight by a still strong cross-way wind. It is one of the most northern Orkney island. The airport is quite short and it offers rather low-quality asphalt. The wind didn`t get weaker, on the contrary there is a great turbulence, especially during the landing.

The island is beautiful. I learn to drive on the left-hand side with a rented car and wait for weaker wind for a take-off. The weather gets better after two days and it is a prodigious sunny day with a mild breeze.
