Nice Drizzle over the Orkneys
Bad weather unfortunately holds me on Mailand, the principal Orkney island, longer than I wanted. The island is beautiful, there is a wonderful nature and wild sea. But I`ve had too much of it now. Nevertheless, the clouds lie lazily on the ground and it rains or slightly drizzles.

13/7 Orkneys
I land at Sanday island after a more than two-hours flight by a still strong cross-way wind. It is one of the most northern Orkney island. The airport is quite short and it offers rather low-quality asphalt. The wind didn`t get weaker, on the contrary there is a great turbulence, especially during the landing.

10/7 From Duxford up to Dundee throughout a Miserable Weathe
We leave Duxford on Monday morning in quite a nice weather. We fly first to the Turweston airport, where PFA - Popular Flying Association - have their headquarters. They want to have a look at Sting and take a drive in it. Turweston is about only 50 miles off, but we have to fly into the line. I am glad I found the airport and landed succesfully.
