Mists Bathing in the Sun around Hilversum and Amsterdam
From the south corner of Holland - Zeeland - I fly as near Amsterdam as possible. I am going to pick up Radim on Monday, he is going to fly with me the next part of the flight.

Flight from a Storm from England via Belgium to Holland
I start as soon as possible from the Shoreham airport on the south coast of England after a traditional English breakfast. The weather gets worse slowly, there is a front breaking down in the west and it brings numerous and sometimes even extensive storms. I start in a mild rain, and, as I hear on the radio in a while, there is such a storm over Shoreham, that they cancel landings and take-offs.

Sightseeing Dublin and back to England
Sightseeing flight over the centre of Dublin and back to Britain. Finally closer to good old Europe.

I Will not See Aran Islands this Year
I wake up to an overcast sky with low cloudiness. I didn`t expect that. After the take-off, I try to fly towards the Aran Islands, but I give it up after a couple of minutes.

West Coast of Ireland
There is a decreased visibility on the west coast. I wanted to fly to see the Aran Islands, but there is no use to fly there in such dairy. I find an airport thanks to GPS and land in a while. I hope it will get better tomorrow. The weather forecast promissed it at least.

Invasion to Ireland
Flight to Ireland went without problems. The police humbug at last turned out to be a mere formality. I land south of Dublin at a small Dublin - Weston airport. It is unusually busy here. There is constantly at least one aircraft or helicopter just landing.

Nice Drizzle over the Orkneys
Bad weather unfortunately holds me on Mailand, the principal Orkney island, longer than I wanted. The island is beautiful, there is a wonderful nature and wild sea. But I`ve had too much of it now. Nevertheless, the clouds lie lazily on the ground and it rains or slightly drizzles.

14/7 Kirkwall
The planned twenty minutes long transport from Sanday to Kirkwall eventually changed into a breathtaking, an hour and a half long sightseeing flight around Orkney islands.

13/7 Orkneys
I land at Sanday island after a more than two-hours flight by a still strong cross-way wind. It is one of the most northern Orkney island. The airport is quite short and it offers rather low-quality asphalt. The wind didn`t get weaker, on the contrary there is a great turbulence, especially during the landing.

10/7 From Duxford up to Dundee throughout a Miserable Weathe
We leave Duxford on Monday morning in quite a nice weather. We fly first to the Turweston airport, where PFA - Popular Flying Association - have their headquarters. They want to have a look at Sting and take a drive in it. Turweston is about only 50 miles off, but we have to fly into the line. I am glad I found the airport and landed succesfully.
